Well ,Shangri-la is how I would describe Bear Lake Reserve, the level of customer service received from the greeters cottage, the golf corse,the marina & the Lake Club is just a wonderful experience, G.M .Tad runs the resort @ a incredible high level unsurpassed in a resort experience , the bar location, service drinks & food all were steller ,we took a 2 hour pontoon boat cruise for a extra relaxing afternoon, a am ride around the most beautiful 9 hole Jack Nickolas golf core was amazing, thanks again to evey single person on the Bear Lake Team that made our fantasy 3 day Wedding event a super spectacular occasion, T.Y..L.A.T.

Absolutely stunning place!!! The lake is pristine, the community is well maintained, the home we rented was beautiful. Be prepared for lots of long, curvy, steep roads to get here & once you're in the gates. We're used to mountain driving but others may have problems with it. Once you're in the gates, it's just too far of a drive to leave. Be sure to bring everything you'll need and fill up on gas before turning off of 107. Definitely pay to rent a power boat so you can explore the lake & the waterfalls flowing into it. Soooo beautiful! Miles & miles of hiking trails within the Reserve, too. Lots of families with small children at the pool, so not very relaxing for those without them. They definitely need an "adults only" pool. We had a great time, though, and would recommend to others who've never been to the area.

We loved the restaurant, pool, and boat rental. So much family fun going around the lake on a pontoon. 10 of us! Beautiful!

We really loved it here. It was so beautiful and all of the staff were really great. As you can see from the video they names it appropriately as that big bear was right outside our cabin. Be prepared if you go, shop before you get there there are no shops and no breakfast unless you are ok with pastry and coffee. They have a nice lunch and dinner menu that was not over the top expensive

Bear Lake Reserve was truly a great place to relax and have a great time. We stayed at Bear Lake Reserve for four nights. The views were amazing during the day and the sky was beautiful at night. There was so much to do on the reserve. We also had a welcome dinner at Mills Pond. Callie and her staff did an amazing job at the welcome dinner. Everyone was super sweet and down to earth. Food always brings our family together and it was important to us. They did not disappoint. The food was delicious.

We had our wedding at Bear Lake reserve in 2017. It was an amazing experience, and the staff was awesome. We couldn't have been happier, and can't wait to return for vacation!

Had my brother's wedding here and trust me this place was the best of them all. Very scenic, peaceful and serene.
Castle ladyhawke which is nearby was the perfect place where the wedding galore took place.
The cottages are more than perfect for a weekend gateway.
