Executive Chef Josh Oakley
Meet Executive Chef Josh Oakley, a culinary virtuoso hailing from Elmira, NY. Throughout two decades of experience, Chef Oakley has honed his craft at some of Florida’s most prestigious kitchens including the renowned Enzian Theater in Maitland and James Beard-nominated gastropub, The Ravenous Pig. The creation of his own gastropub concept, The Smiling Bison, earned him an invite to the James Beard Award Ceremony in 2018. He even received the honor of cooking for the official afterparty! Today, Chef Oakley’s culinary mastery is on full display at Bear Lake Reserve where he provides elevated dining experiences for owners and guests alike.
