Hiking & Trails

Intertwined throughout the 2,100 acres are currently miles upon miles of trails, ranging from easy to challenging, and with a variety of elevation changes due to the mountainous terrain. Bear Lake Reserve also adjoins Panthertown Valley, a popular 6,700 acre backcountry paradise, often referred to as “The Yosemite of the East.” Those desiring self-guided tours off property will find deep gorges and broad valleys, mountain bogs, granite rock domes, and tranquil creeks to explore throughout the surrounding region.
