Explore the Forest: Guided Plant Identification Hike
Join us on the Greeter’s Cottage loop for a guided hike focused on the fascinating world of native plants. Along the trail, your guide will highlight the unique features and uses of local flora, including medicinal species like yellow birch, Solomon’s seal, white pine, and more.

You’ll learn how to identify plants by sight, scent, and texture, and gain insight into their ecological and cultural significance. Take-home plant guides will be provided so you can continue exploring and learning long after the hike ends.
