Wilderness Skills Series

RSVP HERE

Registration is required 12 hours in advance, if there are no sign ups the night prior, the activity will be canceled. Capacity of 8 people per event.

Come spend your Saturday morning outside and learn simple, practical wilderness skills in a relaxed setting. This hands-on series is designed for those who want to pick up useful techniques for day hikes, casual camping, and enjoy the outdoors with a little more know-how.

Each week focuses on one skill – like water filtration, fire-starting, basic knots, cordage, and primitive-style containers and shelters – with plenty of time to practice and ask questions. No prior experience needed.

Location: Bear Creek Park
