Bear Lake Reserve Employee Disciplinary Process
1. Verbal Warning
a. Meet with staff to give verbal warning of policy that has been broken (witness must include another manager). Inform staff that this is the 1st warning, the next incident will warrant a written warning, and a 3rd incident will result in termination.
b. Fill out verbal warning online document (this is sent directly to HR).
2. Written Warning
a. Meet with staff to thoroughly review the policy they have broken (witness must include another manager). Inform staff that this is their final warning and another incident will result in termination.
b. Fill out the written warning online document.
c. Print the written warning document and hand deliver the completed form to HR.
3. Termination
a. Meet with staff who broke policy, explain what policy was broken, remind them that they have received both written and verbal warnings, and inform them they are being terminated.
b. Collect all BLR uniforms, name tags, etc.
c. Escort them off property.
d. Submit the online termination form, which is automatically sent to HR & Director of Community Relations.
e. Director of Community Relations will notify managers of the termination.
