Vacation Rentals at Bear Lake Reserve

Your next adventure at Bear Lake Reserve starts with booking your accommodations. However, if you haven’t stayed with us before, you may be wondering what the easiest way to book your stay is and which types of accommodations are best for you and your group. This guide has you covered!

Navigating the Website

When you’re ready to browse and select a home, hover over the accommodations tab and click “vacation rentals”. Here, you’ll find all mountain lodges, villas, cottages, and custom homes available on property. You can then further narrow down availability by selecting your preferred check-in and check-out dates, filter by number of bedrooms/bathrooms, and even pick between homes with forest, mountain, or lake views. Once you’ve narrowed down your search, click on a home to read its description. Here you’ll find more important details such as the amenities in the home and whether it is pet friendly. However, you may still find yourself unsure which type of home best fits your specific needs. Here’s some more info about the 3 main types of vacation rentals Bear Lake Reserve offers.

Custom Homes/Cottages

If you’re looking for a more private experience, consider booking a custom home or cottage. These homes are spread all throughout the property, offering varying views of the lake, forest, and mountains. They come in varying sizes, accommodating between 6-12 people and offer your group more seclusion than the lodges and villas. This makes them perfect for family vacations and smaller groups that want a piece of the mountain to themselves.

Mountain Lodges

Our condo-style mountain lodges are our smallest options and are perfect for both small groups and larger groups that want to split up while staying in homes close together. Many of them share walls! The twelve mountain lodges currently available are all conveniently located close to the Lake Club. Three of them are located together on Southshore Drive, while nine more are located together on Saddle Notch Lane.

Villas

The townhome-style villas are like a larger version of the lodges and sleep between 9-12 people. This makes them a great option for groups of up to 12 who want to stay in one home, or larger groups of 15-20+ who want to split up and share a wall. All five currently available villas are located on Saddle Notch Lane, not far from the Lake Club. There’s even a fire pit in the middle of the cul-de-sac, making for a perfect gathering spot!

Things to Note

Before you finalize your booking, here are a few important things to consider:

  • There is a 3-night minimum throughout the year. From June-August, it’s a 5-night minimum.

  • If you book 6 consecutive nights or more, a 10% discount is automatically applied. If you book 24 consecutive nights or more, the discount becomes 25%.

  • If you have further questions about which homes are pet-friendly, handicap accessible, etc. ask our Lodging Specialist, Makenzie!

  • If you’re a homeowner and are interested in putting your home in our rental program, contact Cassye Oliver!
